There are several other aspects of the design that add to the amazing performance.  The Artura Spider Is the lightest in its class, allowing to a great power-to-weight ratio that leads to reduced weight drag.  The Proactive Damping Suspension System creates an increased response rate to driver input by up to 90%.

EXTERIOR DESIGNED TO BE NOTICED

It only takes one glance to know that driving around Colorado in the Artura Spider is going to turn heads.  Stylish, sleek and aggressive, this convertible supercar checks all the boxes.  Every aspect of the design was planned with optimal performance in mind while at the same time enhancing the visuals.  The Retractable Hard Top (RHT) operates easily with a control in the cabin or with the vehicle key while stationary, opening or closing in only 11 seconds.  When open it tucks conveniently under a carbon fiber tonneau cover.  The RHT is composed of carbon fiber or an available electrochromic glass.

Adding to the Artura Spider’s performance and style, powertrain cooling vents are placed closer to the rear of the vehicle to make room for the RHT mechanism and tonneau cover.  The roof design effectively channels air to the vent chimney to aid the flow of hot air coming from the powerful powertrain.  Every aspect of this McLaren was designed to work together efficiently.
